Finally some serious entrepreneur has joined the farming biz. Interesting times ahead. Maybe the border closure wasn't such a bad idea if it would give these guys a fighting chance like it happened in cement.

Agriculture: Coscharis Farms Inuagrates 120, 000 MT/ Rice Mill In Anambra State

Coscharis Farms Limited, a member of the Coscharis Group has unveiled its 120, 000 metric tonne Ultra-modern rice processing mill in Igbariam, Anambra State with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele; Governor of Anambra, Mr. Willie Obiano; Kebbi State counterpart, Alhaji Abubakar Bagudu and the Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mustapha Shehuri amongst the dignitaries present at the ceremony.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of the first phase of the mill which has 40, 000 MT, Tuesday Emefiele reiterated the bank’s commitment to partner with the private sector to facilitate the development of Nigeria’s agricultural sector.....
